Tell your story better

Stay present - it's the tense that makes sense

Here's a tiny tip to start the week: Stay present.

Painting a picture of a brighter future can be a handy persuasive writing approach. Even doing that, however, write in the present tense as much as you can.

It's more immediate and dynamic.
It's usually shorter.
It typically translates more tidily into other languages.

It's the difference between:

-We'll be there for you. We'll help you every step of the way.
and
-We're there for you. We help you every step of the way.

or between:

-When you will send us your details, we will update your account.
